It doesn’t make sense. Most informed people know that the film industry is owned and controlled by Jewish interests. If Gibson is truly an anti-Semite as the Jews claim, why would these same Jews support his film-making, his directing and the distribution of his films?
How come the Jews don’t blacklist him if he is that offensive and “ugly” to them?
It’s my belief that the accusations of anti-Semitism levelled at Gibson by Hollywood Jews and the ADL is a Jewish-Gibson-marketing ploy to garner and foster interest in his latest movie project about Judas Maccabeus, a “Jewish hero”. 
Judas Maccabeus led a Jewish revolt and defeated the Seleucid Empire, which was ruled by Antiochus IV Epiphanes ( 167 -160 B.C.).
As a side bar, the Jewish feast of Hanukkah (“Dedication”) was established to commemorate the restoration of Jewish worship at the temple in Jerusalem in 165 BC, after Judas Maccabeus removed the pagan statuary.
And, I might add, in the biblical account of Judas Maccabeus, there is no miracle of one day’s supply of temple-lamp-oil lasting for eight days. This so-called “miracle” was/is a Jewish creation!
The Catholic “Jerusalem Bible” contains the Judas Maccabeus revolt and his defeat of the Seleucid Empire. It begins in 2 Maccabees Chpt.5 verse 27.
