Since this is Black History month, I thought I’d repost the following brief info and vid re Malcolm X.
Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little on May 19, 1925 and was assassinated in Feb. 1965 by 3 members of the Nation of Islam. He was an American-African Muslim minister, a superb orator and a human rights activist.
In 1964, he disavowed racism and expressed a willingness to work with civil rights leaders, though still emphasizing black self-determination and self defence. Because of his political change of heart, he was assassinated the next year (1965).

In the following video Malcolm X compares the lives and political posture of the “house negro” to the “field negro”. With hindsight, one can view his speech as a fore-glimpse into the future re modern day black “house negroes” _ie_ Obama, Colin Powell, Condaleeza Rice and many others who hold government positions.
Here’s his 8 min speech.
