Sabbath Word (Nov.17/18) Do Not! For Both The Believer And The Seeker

Sabbath Day (Ex.20: 8 – 11)        By r. a.             Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018

In Messiah’s name : The word of God is the Truth (Jn.17: 17 & Ps.119: 142) – – “Sin Is the transgression of the law.” ( (1 Jn.3: 4, 22)

Here’s some sound/godly advice for those (I include myself) who are striving to “overcome” (see Book of Revelation. chpts 2 & 3) and to please/serve the Creator-God and, for those who may be seeking him. If you seek him (the Creator-God) with all your heart, you will find him. (Deut.4: 29)

His son is the way, the truth and the life. “Messiah said unto him (Thomas), I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father (Creator-God, the great I AM), but by me.” (Jn.14: 6)

The Book of Ecclesiasticus Chapter 7 verses 1 – 17 & 29      Jerusalem Bible

1 Do no evil, and evil will not befall you; 2 shun (keep away from) wrong, and it will avoid you. 3 My child, do not sow in the furrows (ruts/ditches) of wickedness, for fear you have to reap them seven times over.

4 Do not ask the Lord for the highest place, or the king for a seat of honour. 5 Do not parade your uprightness before the Lord, or your wisdom before the king.

6 Do not scheme to be appointed judge, for fear you should not be strong enough to stamp out injustice, for fear of being swayed by someone influential and so of risking the loss of your integrity.

7 Do not wrong the general body of citizens and so lower yourself in popular esteem. 8 Do not be drawn to sin twice over, for you will not go unpunished even once.

9 Do not say, ‘God will be impressed by my numerous offerings; when I sacrifice to God Most High, he is bound to accept.’ 10 Do not be hesitant (reluctant or lack of belief) in prayer; do not neglect to give alms.

11 Do not laugh at someone who is sad of heart, for he who brings low can lift up high.
12 Do not make up lies against your brother, nor against a friend either. 13 Mind you tell no lies, for no good can come of it.

14 Do not talk too much at the gathering of elders, and do not repeat yourself at your prayers. 15 Do not shirk (someone who avoids his/her duty) wearisome labor or farm work, which the Most High created.

16 Do not swell the ranks of sinners, remember that the retribution (deserved punishment) will not delay.
17 Be very humble, since the recompense (pay back/reward) for the godless is fire and worms.

(Verses 29 -36) With all your soul, fear the Lord and love him who made you. In everything you do, remember your end (death), and you will never sin.

Lastly, “Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.“( John 14: 27)
All glory, praise and honor to the Creator-God, the great I AM, in Messiah’s name.
Peace, blessings and protection to all who love the truth and hate the lies and deceptions.

About ron abbass

Because of my last name, there are some who might think I'm a Muslim. I'm an older student of the bible and I regard myself as Christian-other. That is, I was baptized in a Torah-keeping assembly. I'm one who tries his best to follow Yayshua, the Messiah (Christ) by keeping the commandments, the dietary laws, the weekly Sabbath and the annual Sabbaths (Holy Days) instituted and ordained by the great I AM, the Creator-God of Israel. I reject the holidays and festivals invented by the Roman church. Truth-seeking is my present passion. Presently, I do a lot of research into the World Wars, the mass media, the Holocaust, Zionism, Health Issues, 9/11 and the power brokers who are behind the New World Order that is gradually being established mainly in the Western Nations. Many prognosticators (prophets) both secular and religious are warning us that we are living "On the Eve of Destruction" - the last days. There's a very good chance a nuclear tsunami will eventually visit many nations. Peace and blessings to all who love the truth and hate the lies.
